WHO I AM

I'm gonna try and keep this really short! If you'd like to get a deeper dive into me, click here

My name is Evan Gamboa and I really fucking dig strength training.
In short, I strive to progress both myself & my clients toward being not only adept at their strength-related field of choice, but also really really useful.
This is achieved through balancing getting STRONG with increasing capacity in:
-
1 to 3 minute increments of intense effort (useful for strongman events, building muscle size, dancing, walking up a flight of stairs like a CHAMP, etc)
-
5-10 minute increments of moderate effort (useful for intense sections of a hike, a boxing or MMA match, building work capacity to improve your ability to get big and strong in the 1 to 3 minute range, walking up MANY flights of stairs... etc.)
-
20 minute+ increments of low effort work (useful for building or improving hiking ability, most sports, improving cardiovascular health, WORK CAPACITY )
In my career I have helped people both in person & virtually train for & compete in: Powerlifting, Strongman, Endurace Races
I have also helped others train for things like general health and fitness, job or hobby related physical requirements (stage riggers, EMTs, OCRs [obstacle course racers], weekend hockey players, even stay at home parents wanting to keep up with the kids a little bit better)
Now, I seek to help as many people as I can build real-world strength safely and effectively through the utilization of
- Strongman Training
-Yoga
-Flexibility Training
-Powerlifting
-Conditioning

FEEDBACK
Real Experiences, Real Results
Evan is super helpful and listens well to feedback.I like that he gives me feasible goals and reasonable workouts so I don't feel overworked Other trainers I've worked with push too hard and don't account for the trainee listening to their body and modifying.

Working with Evan was the first and only time I had tried coaching and a real program. It was a very positive experience for me. He not only accommodated time constraints but also offered alternate workouts/exercises tailored to fit my needs. being coached by him was a very positive experience and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is considering giving powerlifting a try.

Working with Evan has been perfect for me in my health and fitness journey. He has helped me identify my goals and is creative, realistic and encouraging in how to reach those goals together. I greatly appreciate how adaptable Evan is in growing together as a team to ensure success. I train with Evan virtually and it has been phenomenal!
