Hi! I'm Evan Gamboa. In 2018 I had been "doing fitness" for 3 years but hadn't really made a ton of progress. This was because I was exercising only because I thought it was "good for me" and that I should be. This caused me to remain inconsistent while also not enjoying the process as much as I should.
That year, after some lingering interest in Strongman, I entered my first competition and hit it hard. I was infatuated with the sport. Unfortunately, I hit it too hard & without focus, leading to an ACL injury that kept me out of the sport for a year.
During that same time, I began my personal training journey training all sorts of folks at a commercial gym. I learned about balancing training intensely, but MORE IMPORTANTLY, Sustainably. I had the opportunity to work with folks such as EMTS, Stay-At-Home Moms, Teachers, Office Workers, senior citizens, etc. Because of my background, I was able to take what I loved from Strongman training and mold it to fit their wants and needs. I learned not only through them but through my own personal rehab that Strongman is physically and mentally engaging, fun, and a great way to safely build strength, as long as you are monitoring other facets of training such as cardiovascular health and flexibility
Since my ACL Repair I have competed in 4 competitions, with some highlight events being:
Bag Over Bar Event - 200lbs for 9 reps in 60 seconds (a rep every 6 seconds)
Stone to Shoulder - 220lb Stone from the ground to my shoulder 5x in 60 seconds
I have also helped others, both in person & virtually train for things such as Health for daily activities, Boxing, Strongman, Endurance Sports & Powerlifting.
Now, I seek to help as many people as I can build real-world strength safely and effectively through the utilization of

-Powerlifting
-Conditioning
